About us
ART-DOMINO® | YOUR WORLD IN POP ART is an individual art and design concept by Berlin artist Sabine Welz. The concept is based on sights around the world, a wide range of colors and materials and offers tailor-made, individualized works of art for companies and hosts.
The focus is on landmarks that not only characterize the cityscape, but are special places that express national culture, society and transformation in equal measure. In them, history and tradition are translated into modernity - turning the respective landmark into an urban attraction for locals and travelers alike.
This is precisely what fascinates artist Sabine Welz: she travels to each city herself in order to immerse herself in the lifestyle and be inspired. The moments on site - discovering and exploring - play just as important a role as the memory of a city afterwards. This emotionality, which arises when reliving personal memories of travel, is the central theme of the individual concept: sights find their place on works of art made from various materials of the highest quality and represent cities, countries, values and positive memories in pop art. Stylized sights become high-contrast collages; photorealistic realizations are contrasted by motif overlays, shadows and exciting worlds of color. Working with color contrasts is just as exciting for Sabine Welz as material variation: whether aluminum, acrylic glass, canvas or paper. The visual highlighting of values, locations and differences through the choice of motif and color design is the focus of individual commissioned works.
In 2014, another material was added to the concept: coffee and espresso cups as design objects made of bone china porcelain bring urbanity and emotionality to the breakfast table and convey your message. The latest designer piece made of porcelain are christmas balls.
ART-DOMINO® was founded in Berlin, Germany in 2009 and has been run as a family business by Sabine Welz and Lisa Schwiesselmann since 2024.

ART-DOMINO® Espresso Mug "DUBAI"
The espresso mug is made of bone china porcelain and is made in Germany. Three prestigious buildings from Dubai are depicted on a dark blue and gold background: Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab and the Museum of the Future shine in brilliant contrasts. The colors are picked up again in a band around the mirror of the saucer. Individual motifs or logos can be produced. The mugs and saucers are dishwasher and microwaveable.
ART-DOMINO® Acrylic Glass Pictures
We offer the glossy, colorful acrylic glass pictures in different styles: As City Collage with illustrated motifs, as City Sights with vibrant conversions with multiple colors and metallic effects and as colorful City Stripes in 2 to 1 format. In production, we work with the world's best manufacturer, which has already won several awards. The ultraHD photo prints on high-quality paper with or without a metallic sheen offer maximum image quality, depth and sharpness of detail. The acrylic glass, which is lightweight and shatterproof, enhances the brilliant effect of the motif.
ART-DOMINO® Poster Editions
The poster series comprises 36 different German and international cities in three limited editions (150 copies per city). All posters are printed on high-quality paper measuring 30 x 40 cm in portrait format. The frames are available in white and black. Individual poster series with motif collages are possible.
ART-DOMINO® Christmas Ball "BERLIN"
This Christmas ball is made of porcelain, hand-decorated and made in Germany. The Berlin version has three motifs on the white base: the Berlin Bear, Brandenburg Gate and Goldelse in festive red create a special atmosphere on the Christmas tree or as a high-quality gift for guests, employees or partners.
ART-DOMINO® City Golds
Whether a single motif or a collage of several motifs: The City Golds exude luxurious flair. The prints on horizontally brushed aluminum have a metallic shimmer in gold or silver. This special effect is particularly effective on light and white image areas, while the matt surfaces are given their finish thanks to state-of-the-art 7-color printing. Maximum stability and durability are ensured by the 3 millimeter thick composite material Alu-Dibond with a black polyethylene core.
